Due to the encouraging results of the first edition in 2010, Casa Batlló will be opening its doors from May 10-12, 2012 to welcome booksellers and collectors to the Second International Antiquarian Book Fair.
This fair is like a recently planted seed that has born its first fruits, but its ambition is to continue growing and become an essential event for bibliophiles across South-western Europe, where it has already become the most important international event of its kind. By virtue of its geographical location, its cosmopolitan nature, and its unique culinary and cultural attractions, Barcelona will once again, for a weekend, become the world capital of antiquarian books, in the most famous jewel of Catalan Modernism: Casa Batlló.
This new edition aims to improve in two central areas, in its use of space and in its communication campaign, in order to make sure this professional event, and festival of antiquarian books, has every chance of becoming a commercial success.
